On behalf of the leadership here at (NAME OF CHURCH), I would like to invite you to our service on (DATE) at (TIME).
As you may know, this will be Father's Day, and we will do our best to recognize and appreciate Fathers.
With each passing year, the family is under increasing pressure from the world to place less and less value on the family.
Our children are dealing with things that we could never have imagined just a few years ago as parents and grandparents.

Greetings in Christ!
What a wonderful time of the year! Once again, it is time to “give honor where honor is due” here at (NAME OF CHURCH) by honoring all Mothers who attend our services on Mother's Day.
We are of the belief of course that Mothers should be honored on a daily basis, and not just one day out of an entire year, yet it is always such a joy to simply take time during our services to recognize and appreciate those who give so much, and in so many ways.
Warm Greetings!
A teacher gave her class of second graders a lesson on the magnet and what it does. The next day in a written test, she included this question: ” My full name has six letters. The first one is M. I pick up things. What am I?” When the test papers were turned in, the teacher was astonished to find that almost 50 percent of the students answered the question with the word Mother.
Dear Friends,
Well, it's that time of year again… the Big Game! At First Christian Church, we view this time as a wonderful time of outreach to our community, and we want you to be part of it.
As the two best football teams come together to go head-to-head on the field, we will be meeting in the Family Life Center to watch the game together and have a great time of fellowship with more food than you can imagine.
One of the highlights of the evening is at halftime of the game. During this time, we will be watching a video testimony of ______________ _____________, who plays for the _____________ _____________ football team.
