Encouragement To Pastor from Attendee

I wanted to write to let you know how much I appreciate you.  You have served this congregation as pastor with wisdom, prayerfulness and faithfulness.  Your service does not go unnoticed.

Of course, you have taught us well that the only appreciation that really matters comes from God, and  I am sure that He has taken notice of all that you have done, and continue to do, for First Christian Church. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view full text!

Pastors Retirement (from Deacon)

As has been previously announced, Pastor John Doe will be retiring from his full-time ministerial duties as of 01/01/01.  It is with a mix of sadness and joy that I invite you to attend a special retirement service in his honour.  While I know that he has put in many years of service to the Lord, and has earned a time of rest, I am sad to see such a fine man of God step down from the pulpit at First Christian Church. On behalf of the leadership of First Christian Church, I would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to attend a very special Pastor’s Appreciation Day for Pastor John Doe on Sunday, October 13, 20__.

As you may know, he has Pastored the church for the past _____ years, and has done so faithfully, and with the heart of a servant. The church and the surrounding community are better as a result of his ministry, and we are grateful that God chose him to lead us. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view full text!

This is a speech for Pastors Appreciation Day.  Of course, it is always recommended to modify this to your own situation, these words will apply to the vast majority of Pastors, and it would be a speech that would bring honor and dignity to your Pastor.  You may also modify it to use as a letter to him/her as well. Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

What a great joy it is to be part of the family of God, especially in these challenging days we live.

In all of our lives, there are moments of great honor that are only enhanced when we share them with brothers and sisters in Christ, and I want to take this opportunity to ask you to one of these moments. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view full text!
