Invitation Letter to New Attendees Luncheon
For the past few weeks, we have noticed that you and your family have begun to attend First Christian Church on a regular basis, and we are happy to have you join us for our services.
We trust that you have felt welcome, and that you have also found the teaching, preaching, and worship times to be relevant and enjoyable.
Encouragement Letter to Person in Prison
I write briefly to let you know that I have been thinking and praying for you while you are serving your sentence in prison.
So many times in life we may feel as if God is “through with us”, and that there is no reason to look forward to tomorrow. I want to assure you that God can do profound things in your life as you face the days and weeks ahead if you put your trust in Him.
To Encourage Members to Invite Others – Friend Day
A recent survey was done among people who do not attend church. The results prove that our calling to bring others into the house of God is more important than ever. When the participants were asked what would convince them to attend a church service, the majority said that being invited by someone they know was the only way they would consider attending.
That means that, for some, you may be the only way they will ever decide to enter the house of the Lord. It’s important that we take seriously the scriptures that admonish us to help others find their way to God.

I wanted to take a moment to send you this note on behalf of the congregation of First Christian Church to express our sympathy upon hearing of the loss of your child ____________.
