I was excited to learn that you were considering getting baptized in water in accordance with the Holy Scriptures. This is an awesome and powerful part of God’s plan for our lives, and by obeying Him in this act, you show your willingness to trust your life to Him.
The Bible tells us that in Luke 15:7 that there is joy in heaven when one sinner repents. The Bible prophesied of the coming of our Savior this way in Isaiah 9:6: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
It is with a sense of thanksgiving and gratitude that I write to you during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. As this letter is being written many wonderful things have been taking place in our church and for this our hearts are overjoyed.
