Intended to be read in a Church or Congregational setting:
On this Memorial Day weekend, we would like to take a few moments during this service to recognize and appreciate those who have paid the highest price possible to secure our freedoms. Those who have given their life.
It is a profound thought to think that one human being would sacrifice something of so much value, not only to themselves, but also to their families and friends who tearfully said their good-byes as the call to serve beckoned.
One of the greatest deceptions of the enemy in this day is the belief that the local church is not needed for the disciple of Christ to grow, while that same Christian becomes captive to a plethora of voices and opinions via social networking connections, television, radio, internet, etc. etc.

“Your letters have been a great help to our ministry. You’re right, thinking and thinking of what to say can wear you down... so your letters have been a great help. The letters continue to be a blessing to both Andrae and myself. Thank you for being faithful to helping so many in the ministry."

"I hardly consider myself ever being at a loss for words, but churchletters.org has been an amazing blessing to me in reaching and connecting with friends, colleagues and ministry leaders. Sometimes I use an entire letter that speaks my heart. Other times I use just a phrase that helps me better articulate a letter I personally composed. I use it in letters, emails, more. It saves me a lot of time in the writing process. Churchletters.org sort of reminds of me of a composer writing a great song for a singer to sing. It's really cool because people love being appreciated and edified. Appreciation always wins over self promotion!"
