College Graduation Congratulations

Dear (NAME),

It has come to my attention that you will soon be graduating from (NAME OF COLLEGE). That is no small feat, and you should be very proud of your accomplishments.

In a world where many do not have the ability to attend college, I also hope that you will take time to reflect on how blessed you are to have been given such an opportunity.

I am thrilled to see that you took that opportunity and followed through, even when I am sure there were times when you may have felt like giving up. Now that your time in college is nearing an end, you will face many important decisions.

Proverbs 24:5 tell us that A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength. But we also know that we must temper that knowledge with humbleness and that the only true wisdom comes from God.

We are given a warning in Isaiah.

Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! -Isaiah 5:21

My prayer is that you seek the Lord when making the most important choices in your life. You have before you a road with many twists and turns. There is certainly more than one route you can take, and the only way to be sure you are making the best choice for you is to seek the Lord with all of your heart.

It seems like a short time ago that I was offering my congratulations upon your graduation from high school and watching as you took the next important step in your life. Now, several years later, I will once again have the pleasure of praying for you as you embark on the next part of your journey.

I offer you heartfelt congratulations and pray that you will continue to use the gifts that God has given you to be the best person that you can be and to glorify Him in the process.

Sincerely
Pastor John Doe
