I greet you in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
I wanted to take this moment to send a note to let you know we are thinking of you, as well as praying for your safety during this Easter Holiday.
We also want to be sure to pass on our words of deep appreciation for your sacrificial service to our country as you have given so much of your time and talents to keep us safe and protected.
Easter is a time of spring and being renewed, refreshed and restored, just as the flowers that are blooming. It is no accident that God wakes up the plants and makes the flowers to bloom at Easter time. That is the time He rolled the stone away and brought His son out of a dark grave into a beautiful, bright world – from death to life, like winter to spring.
Christmas is a time of giving. It is the season for which I am most grateful as is true of most people. While the secular world emphasizes Christmas trees, Christmas parties and Christmas lights, we as Christians, know the true meaning of the season.
Thank you for the prayers and support you have given us in our ministry, especially during this Christmas Season.
From the mission field – Merry Christmas to you and your family. What a wonderful and blessed time of year to be able to share the story of Jesus’ birth with those who have no idea who He is.
“Christ the Lord is risen today – hallelujah.” He is alive and as the popular song of years ago says, “Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.”
Can you even imagine life without Christ? It is hard for you or me to imagine, but in the mission field in which we reside we find that not everyone we serve has been so fortunate. Many have never heard of God or His son Jesus much less the meaning of Easter.
