Watchnight Service Welcome

Welcome to our New Year's Eve Watchnight Service! We are thrilled you have chosen to worship with us on the last evening of (YEAR) as we close out the year together in Thanksgiving and welcome (NEW YEAR) with anticipation!

Philippians 3:13-14 (NIV) 13 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Welcome to First Sunday – New Year, Same God!

Here we are again at the beginning of another year, and there's been a thought in my mind that may seem simple, yet it's a powerful truth; “New Year, Same God”!

New Year Welcome Speech for Church

Good morning!

As we gather together on this first Sunday of the new year, I want to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to each and every one of you. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to worship with you and to be a part of this wonderful church community.

Church Welcome to First Sunday of New Year

Good morning!

We want to take this opportunity to welcome you to (NAME OF CHURCH) for our first service on the first Sunday in (YEAR)!

Whether you are watching online or you're with us here in person, we want you to know that you are highly valued and you are not alone!

While we have gone through some trying and difficult times as a Nation, and yes, even as the World, we can rest assured that God STILL has the whole World in His hands!

We have heard a lot lately about the 15th letter of the Greek Alphabet, which is “Omicron.” We have come today to honor Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior! He is the personification of the first and last letters of the Greek Alphabet as we read in Revelation 22:13 (NKJV) 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
