Here at ChurchLetters.org we have found that our Church Welcome categories are quite popular and visited very often by churches who want to provide inspirational words of welcome to church attendees. Similar to our Church Letter Templates, it’s simply a matter of copying from our site and making a few minor modifications to be ready for the next Sunday service.
Use these either from the platform as someone shares the welcome verbally or insert them in your church bulletin. Written by a Pastor with over 35 years of ministry experience, they will be a great addition to your follow up efforts to reach your community for Christ!
The Bible tells us in Luke 24:1-6 (NIV) 1 On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee:

Over 2,000 years ago Mary Magdalene came to the tomb at an early hour. The Bible tells us in John 20:1 that it was so early it was still dark, yet soon the “light of the World” would once again illuminate this darkened world as He arose from the dead. Greetings and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ! He is risen; He is risen indeed!
We are thrilled that you are here with us at INSERT NAME OF CHURCH HERE to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on this Easter Sunday, this Resurrection Sunday.
What does today hold for you? Is it filled with celebrations containing bunnies, baskets, and brunches?
Whatever your earthly traditions, remember the ultimate reason that we have any celebrations at all on this day.
Easter Sunday not only represents the culmination of the Lenten season and the end of the Holy Week, but it also serves as a reminder that this is only the beginning for believers! Because of Christ’s death and resurrection, we have hope. We have grace. We have the offer of salvation because of what happened on the cross and because of what happened supernaturally after the cross.
Paul writes, “For to this end Christ died and lived again,” in Romans 14:9. It is for us that Christ died…and rose again. This is indeed good news, brothers and sisters. This is indeed a reason to celebrate. Whether you are a newcomer to our congregation or a long-time member, be encouraged by the grace and hope that we can have through Christ and his resurrection on this Easter Sunday.
NOTE: THIS EASTER SERVICE WELCOME YOU SEE ABOVE HAS BEEN PROVIDED AT NO CHARGE, SO THERE’S NO NEED TO LOG IN.
Welcome to Church! We are so glad you have chosen to worship the Lord with us here at (NAME OF CHURCH) on Palm Sunday.
2,000 years ago Jesus rode into the city of Jerusalem on the back of a donkey, while the people felt that all their hopes and dreams for being free of the oppression of Roman rule was riding on His back.Yet, we know that in just a few short days from that time many of the very same people would be watching and even cheering while stripes were laid upon His back prior to being led to His crucifixion.
