Here at ChurchLetters.org we have found that our Church Welcome categories are quite popular and visited very often by churches who want to provide inspirational words of welcome to church attendees. Similar to our Church Letter Templates, it’s simply a matter of copying from our site and making a few minor modifications to be ready for the next Sunday service.
Use these either from the platform as someone shares the welcome verbally or insert them in your church bulletin. Written by a Pastor with over 35 years of ministry experience, they will be a great addition to your follow up efforts to reach your community for Christ!
We are thrilled that you have joined us today as we gather together to worship our risen Savior, Jesus Christ!
Without a doubt, the resurrection of Christ is an event that validated the life and ultimate crucifixion of the Lord. If He had been placed in the tomb and stayed there, He would have gone down in history as another “good man” who helped many people but in the end, could not help Himself.
We wanted to extend a warm welcome to you today as we once again gather for a time of worship and appreciation to our Savior for what He has done, and WILL do for us.
We are thrilled to have you with us today and while many people around the world settle back into their custom of attending church on Christmas and Easter, isn't it great to celebrate the risen Savior each and every day?
We want to extend a warm welcome to our Easter 2021 service to all of you who are either with us here in person or watching online!
Let me take a moment right here at the beginning of the service to let you know that Jesus Christ is STILL alive and well! I realize we live in a world filled with challenges, and many of them may not seem to have an answer at this moment. Yet, we believe with all our hearts that not only is there “an” answer, but Jesus is THE answer for all you are facing!
We are so glad you have chosen to worship with us today here at (NAME OF CHURCH)! Whether you are joining us here in the Sanctuary or watching online, we trust that this service will be an encouragement to you!
Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a borrowed Donkey which was hardly the typical transportation for a King. The people believed this would be when they would finally break free from the oppressive Roman rule.
They waved palm branches and proclaimed praises to Him, yet those same people would be shouting a far different message just a few short days later. That message would be “crucify Him” as it became clear to them that His Kingdom would not be one that would overcome the Romans at that time.
The Bible tells us in Luke 24:1-6 (NIV) 1 On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee:
What a powerful and thought-provoking question the angels asked of the women who had come to the tomb and it was this; “why do you look for the living among the dead”?
