Our church welcome categories are quite popular and visited very often by churches to assist in providing inspirational words of welcome as the church service begins.
(Use the Category Quick Links below OR the WELCOMES link on the menu bar above).
What if you were invited to a home and upon arrival, found you had to open the door yourself, find a place to sit on your own, and more!
Provide a warm and inviting greeting to visitors to your church as well as those who attend on a regular basis!
Similar to our Church Letter Templates, it’s simply a matter of copying from our site. Then, make a few minor modifications to be ready for the Sunday service.
The editing process takes no more than just a few minutes for each letter or welcome. This is much faster than writing a new one each and every week you meet for services!
Use these church welcome templates either from the platform or insert them in your church bulletin.

Whether you are joining us today on-site or online, we certainly want to take a few moments to welcome everyone who is joining us today!
We have said it many times but will repeat it: “We live in challenging times”! At the beginning of 2020, many Grandparents found themselves on the other side of a door or window as you “visited” with your Grandchildren. Your arms ached either to hold your Grandchild or at least to give them a good hug!
But alas, we were told to be sure to maintain “social distancing” and hold back on those natural and God-given instincts.
What a joy it is to gather together to worship on this very special weekend when we recognize and appreciate… work!
It seems that we often lose sight of this weekend as many people simply view it as the final weekend of Summer vacations as school is once again in session. Others may see it as another weekend of cookouts and a day off to celebrate work! (Seems almost ironic doesn't it?)
Well, as we gather to worship today, let's be sure to take a few moments to appreciate the employment we have! Of course, we realize there is really no such thing as “the perfect job” as there are challenges and difficulties that accompany anything that is worthwhile.
We are so glad you have chosen to join us today as we worship the Lord together and have fellowship!
The Bible says this in James 5:16; “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
We are so glad you have chosen to join us today as we worship the Lord together and have fellowship!
The House of God is such a special place to be. You may have heard people refer to a church congregation as “the body of Christ.” This is because the bible explains us each as individual members of one whole body.
Welcome, Brothers and Sisters in Christ to (NAME OF CHURCH)!
We are so glad you have to have the privilege of worshiping alongside you today in the House of God!
Let’s reflect together on the following scripture from Hebrews 12:28, which says, “Let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.”
