Sometimes in life we experience events we never might have expected. During these times, we may feel scared, angry, or disillusioned, even unprepared to handle such situations. Such may be the case when we find ourselves facing a legal trail. Fortunately, we do not have to rely on our own strength to get us through such difficult times.
As the Summer months draw to a close, and we move toward the Fall season, I wanted to take a moment to write this letter to each and every family in the church.
It is exciting to be part of what God is doing here at First Christian Church, and I am certainly looking forward to even greater things in the months and years ahead.
As the world prepares to enjoy the birth of our savior joyously, we cannot help realize this is your first Christmas after the untimely death of your wife. We all know this is a very difficult time for you. We pray diligently to the Lord who sustained you in the past year to help you during this time of reflection. We know how you and your wife used to enjoy this wonderful time of the year with numerous festive celebrations and charity acts.
I wanted to take a few moments to send you this note of encouragement during this very difficult trial you are going through in your life.
Rest assured, people are praying for you as you walk this path which often feels like a very lonely road. The problem with going through things like this is often the feeling of isolation and that we are the only ones who have gone through something this difficult.
I trust you are doing well in the Lord, and are experiencing His blessings in a powerful way!
I wanted to take a moment to send you this letter as an encouragement to continue to trust God even in this time of difficulty in your relationship with ______________.
