What a wonderful time of year it is as once again we pause and remember the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I know the word “pause” might seem like an odd one to use during this time of year when everything about the season seems to be so chaotic. Yet, I believe it is important for us to “pause on purpose” if we really want to have a meaningful Christmas season.
We have just come through a season of Thanksgiving in which we offered thanks in so many ways to the Lord for the many blessings we enjoy.
No matter what we have been through in this past year, I am convinced that each of us can find not only one thing but MANY things to be thankful for!
Christmas is a beautiful time of year in which we give and receive gifts, all in celebration and honor of our Savior, Jesus Christ, whose Birthday we celebrate.
