Thanksgiving Letter 2022

Thanksgiving Greetings!

God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good!

While a statement like that may sound a bit “cliche,” we must realize it's true! Much of the world considers Thanksgiving as just another excuse to throw a party or watch football all day, we, as believers, know it goes far deeper than that.

In addition, we know that Thanksgiving is not just a “day,” but it's a mindset! The Bible shares many scriptures on the importance of being thankful, giving thanks, and even entering into times of worship WITH thanksgiving!

Psalm 100:4 (NKJV) 4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

Dear Friends,

I greet you in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Hurricane Ian Church Offering Appeal Letter

Many of you have watched as I have, the heartbreaking video and pictures of the effects of Hurricane Ian as it made landfall in Florida and tore a wide swath of destruction across so much of the State.

The damage assessment will continue to take some time, and while we know that many things can be replaced, the toll on human lives in a physical and emotional sense will take much healing from God. We encourage you to pray for people at this time.

I’m of the firm belief that the church leads the way and sets the example in situations like this. We have helped in the past, we should do our best to help again.

Letter of Apology – Letter of Resolution Not Prepared

Dear

I know the pain of losing a loved one, and I realize that any additional adverse circumstances only make this period of time more difficult to endure.

While I certainly do not have any “excuses” that are valid for not taking care of this in a timely manner, please know that I do care and am here for you if you need anything else.

I truly made an error by not preparing a resolution of death upon the passing of your Grandmother ___________ ____________, and for that I am sorry, and I do hope you will accept my apology along with my sincerest condolences.

Pastor Appreciation Letter Sample

Warm Greetings!

On behalf of the Pastor Appreciation Day Committee here at (NAME OF CHURCH), I wanted to take this opportunity to invite you to this special day.

We invite our entire church family to join us for Pastor Appreciation Day on Sunday, (DATE) at (TIME).

We plan to do our best to be a blessing to a Pastor, who has been a blessing to our congregation in so many ways.

In addition to sharing the Word of God with us, he spends many hours studying and preparing. He also visits us during both crisis moments as well as times of great joy. In addition, he has dedicated babies and grieved with us as we have buried loved ones. He has stood at the altar “tying the knot” for couples who pledge their love, and at that same altar, he has also knelt at the altar as someone gives their life to Christ for the first time.
