I'm so glad we serve a God who continues to be generous to us!
I am writing to inform you of my decision to resign as the youth pastor at [Church Name]. After much prayer and contemplation, I have realized that it is time for me to move on to the next chapter in my ministry.
Without a doubt, I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve the youth at [Church Name] and to be a part of such a loving and supportive community. The time I have spent with the youth at [Church Name] has been some of the most rewarding and fulfilling of my ministry. I will always reflect on my time here with fond memories and gratitude.
We hope this letter finds you well. We wanted to follow up with you after your Sunday visit to our church. We hope you had a meaningful experience with us and felt welcomed by our community.
As you may know, our church is a place of fellowship, worship, and growth in faith. We believe that being part of a church family is an essential aspect of a healthy and fulfilling life, and we would love the opportunity to get to know you better and support you on your spiritual journey.
(Editor's Note: This letter is from 2021, directly following the Pandemic year of 2020. It can still be easily modified to work for a different year because God is STILL on the throne!)
Warm Greetings!
As we embark upon a New Year, once again, we find that we are still dealing with this Pandemic in (COUNTRY). But, as you know, the entire world is going through much of the same.
I don't know about you, but perhaps there was a sense of hope last year at this time that as we turned the page on 2020, this would all be behind us within a few months. But that's not the case despite man's best efforts of masks, vaccines, and mandates!
While humanity can only do what we can in our strength, I want to remind you today that God is still on the Throne regardless of where we have been or where we are going!
I wanted to take this opportunity to get a note out to you as quickly as possible in light of the tragic scenes that we have seen unfolding in Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, and Tennessee.
While we prepare for the Christmas Holiday, many of those who have lost everything were also doing the same. While material things may be replaced, the loss of human life is devastating, to say the least. Our thoughts and many prayers go out to all who have loved ones lost in this disaster.
If you're like me, you want to do something that will make a difference as people struggle to get back on their feet in the days and weeks ahead.
