As we start a new year, it is a natural time to reflect on the past and set goals for the future. But as Christians, it is important that our goals are not just about achieving personal success or happiness, but rather about honoring God and living according to His will.
One way to set godly goals is to start by prayerfully seeking guidance from God. Take time to listen to His voice and ask for His direction in your life. The Bible says in Psalm 37:4, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” When we seek God first, He will lead us and give us the desires that align with His will for our lives.
Happy birthday! It's hard to believe that you are already 16 years old. Time sure does fly.
As your pastor, I have had the privilege of watching you grow and mature over the years. You have always been bright and curious, and I do not doubt that you will continue to make a positive impact on those around you.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to you for participating in the Christmas musical presentation. Your talent and dedication were a vital part of the performance, and your contribution helped to make it a truly special and meaningful experience for all who attended.
As we gather together on this first Sunday of the new year, I want to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to each and every one of you. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to worship with you and to be a part of this wonderful church community.
As we look back on the past year, we can see the many ways in which God has blessed us and guided us through the challenges that we have faced. And as we look ahead to the new year, we can have hope and confidence that God will continue to be with us and lead us on the path that He has for us.
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to you and the choir for the beautiful Christmas musical presentation that you put on last Sunday. Your hard work and dedication to rehearsing and perfecting the music truly paid off, as the performance was nothing short of extraordinary.
