Easter Letter of Invitation

Greetings in Christ!

We are looking forward to celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Easter Sunday, 2021!

While the past year has been challenging in so many ways, we must never forget that over 2,000 years ago Jesus rose from the grave! No tomb could hold our sinless redeemer who had come to take the guilt of sin to the cross just as if He was the one who was the sinner!

The cross was the cruelest of deaths in that day and was reserved only for the most hardened criminals. As we know, Jesus was not at all anything like that, and as a matter of fact, the main thing He was “guilty” of was loving and forgiving sinners!

The Fourth Man in the Fire – Encouragement in Trial

Greetings in Christ,

I wanted to take a moment to send you this note of encouragement as you are going through this challenging time in your life.

I'm often reminded of the beautiful story in the Book of Daniel of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. It's important to know that the same God that was there for them at that time is here for you and me now!

You may want to read the full story in Daniel Chapter 3, but I wanted to share a couple of verses with you that I trust will minister to you.

Welcome to Church on Valentines Day 2021

Good Morning!

It's Valentine's Day 2021 and we are having Church!

While we realize this is a day we often express our love for our “significant other”, we believe it's also a wonderful day to express our love in Worship to God! As a matter of fact, every day should be all about that whether we are at church, in our homes or working at our jobs!

Yet, we are also reminded in the Word of God to “love one another” as we can see in a familiar passage of scripture found in 1 John 4:7-8 (NKJV) 7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Invitation to Valentine’s Day at Church

Greetings in Christ!

1 Corinthians 13:13 (NKJV) 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Valentine's Day is February 14th (as always), but this year February 14th is on a Sunday!

Jesus says in Matthew 22:39, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” But we know that it's preceded by another and greater commandment. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.”

While we realize Valentine's Day's primary purpose is the expression of love between each other, the foundation for the kind of love God wants us to have is in the Word of God!

Encouragement to Praise God in Faith

Greetings in Christ!

Isn't God good? While we live in challenging times, we must also remember that God is not bound by times or seasons, and He is STILL a good God!

Praise is something that we ALL can do and shouldn't be held back just because we aren't on the “victory side” of things yet.

Often, our problem as human beings is that we ONLY praise when we see the answer, but quite often in the Bible, we see how Praise should go first!
