Easter Letter – The Resurrection Makes the Difference

Resurrection Greetings!

Once again, we are about to celebrate our risen Lord!

Henry Morris said this: “The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the crowning proof of Christianity. If the resurrection did not take place, then Christianity is a false religion. If it did take place, then Christ is God, and the Christian faith is the absolute truth.”

While so many might only see bunnies and colored eggs, we know it goes so much deeper than this! This particular day is like no other!

Sanctity of Human Life Sunday Invitation (2)

Greetings in Christ,

Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is on (DATE) and this year.

Once again, we would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to join us for this very special day.

The preciousness of life throughout the Bible is apparent, and even in the days before science and technology allowed a view to the Mother's womb, there was evidence of people believing in the value of the unborn child.

Sanctity of Life Sunday Invitation

Greetings in Christ,

Sanctity of Life Sunday is on (DATE), and this year we will be dedicating time during the morning service for this essential day.

On January 13, 1984, President Ronald Reagan issued a proclamation designating January 22 as the first National Sanctity of Human Life Day. (January 22, 1973, was the day the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion-on-demand in all 50 states.) Churches around the United States use the day to celebrate God's gift of life, commemorate the many lives lost to abortion, and commit themselves to protect human life at every stage.

Churches continue to recognize the third Sunday of January each year as National Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.

Now, I realize, of course, the context of this Scripture applies to the Nation of Israel, yet I do believe that we serve a God who is “the same yesterday, today and forever.”

As we look ahead into the year 2020, there's not a person among us who can be sure of what the future holds. For that matter, there's not a person among us who can even say for sure that God will give them another breath to breathe!
