Church Homecoming Invitation

Dear Friends and Family of FCC,

Sunday, September 15^th is our annual church Homecoming Service and on behalf of the entire pastoral staff, I wanted to send this Church Homecoming Invitation to you!

We celebrate Homecoming each year, taking the time to look back over the blessings of the past year and forward into the future with anticipation for what the Lord is going to do in the year to come. It is also a time for those who have been a part of our church body in the past to “come home” and join us to celebrate their time as a part of our congregation.

Congratulations to Long Time Church Board Member

Dear Michael,

On behalf of the congregation of FCC, I want to congratulate you on 20 years of service to the church as a member of the Church Board.

As a body, we have been blessed with your wisdom and dedication to the church, serving faithfully and always reaching above and beyond what is asked of you to help further the message of the Gospel. You have been instrumental in helping the church to remain good and faithful stewards of the money that has been entrusted to us, as well as helping to appoint and send missionaries who have taken the message of the Gospel around the world.

Congratulatory Letter to Christian Elected Official

Dear Senator Rogers,

Please accept my congratulations on your recent election victory.

You have accepted a position of leadership in a very tumultuous time. As Christians, we are called to be “salt and light” to the world around us, and I want to encourage you to take this mandate seriously as you make decisions that will affect not only how we live today, but how our children inherit the world that we are to leave them.

Invitation to be Baptized in Water

Dear Church,

On Sunday, November 27th, we will be having a Water Baptismal service. If you have been considering baptism and want to be a part of this service, we encourage you to attend the pre-baptism class being held on Saturday, November 12th from 9-1. Childcare is available and lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to the church office no later than Wednesday the 9th in order to ensure that we have an accurate count.

Back to Church Invitation

Dear Church,

Next Sunday, September 17th, is our annual “Back to Church Sunday”. Summer is winding down, the kids are heading back to school and we are kicking off our Fall season with a special service and time of fellowship.

After a time away, such as many of us have had this summer, it is good to come back together and remember who we are and what we believe.

We are united under the Gospel of Jesus Christ as one body. We have common beliefs, purposes and goals, and spending time together strengthens our bonds, drawing us closer together and helping each of us to sharpen our faith “…as iron sharpens iron.” (Proverbs 27:17 NIV)
