We are so pleased to have you join us here today.
Let’s read together a passage about the apostles of Jesus who were evangelizing and sharing the good news with the world after Jesus had been resurrected. Acts 2:46-47 says, “Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
As the disciples went out into the world to build God’s kingdom, they never forgot to come together again and have fellowship with one another and worship God. This was such an important time where they would encourage one another and recharge their batteries before going back out the next day to do the Lord’s work.
This is why gathering together and having church is so important even today. God has called each of us to our sphere of influence within society, yet we can have the privilege of meeting to encourage one another in faith and worship God.
We are so glad that you’re with us today in the Lord’s House. We hope that you can leave here today feeling refreshed and ready to take on the week ahead of you.
You may be coming in here today feeling exhausted or discouraged. I encourage you to let God meet you where you’re at this morning and give you the strength you need to carry out the mission he has put before you.
As you enter into worship, I encourage you to trust that God is faithful to meet every need.
