We are thrilled to have you here at (NAME OF CHURCH) today and trust you enjoy an inspirational and enjoyable time worshiping the Lord. There is something amazing and powerful about the corporate worship experience as voices rise as one to bring the Lord the honor due His Name!
Today is a very special day here as we take some time during the service to recognize and appreciate our Pastor(s). The month of October has been designated on a National level as “Pastor's Appreciation Month,” and while we are certainly part of this, we are also happy to appreciate our Pastor(s) every day!
The Dictionary defines the word “appreciate” in this way; “to be grateful or thankful for.”
The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13, “Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.”
We believe that one of the ways we can truly “live in peace with each other” is to show our “highest regard in love” to our Pastor and his wife (NAME).
So, if you are visiting with us today, you are encouraged just to appreciate them as well, even if you've never met them before!
