Can you imagine what it must have been like for Mary and Martha along with certain other women to hear those words from the Angel at the tomb of Jesus? The range of emotions went from the lowest of the low to the highest of the high as the news of the resurrection of Christ began to register first in their minds, then it moved to their hearts and finally made its way to their feet as they soon would be running to tell the Disciples!
Most of us know that Easter and Christmas are two times during the calendar year of the church that people are most likely to attend church, yet did you know there are far more people who would attend if they had a simple invitation?
Thom Rainer, a Christian blogger and researcher recently polled over 300 non-churched people, and found that ninety-six percent of them are at least are at least somewhat likely to attend church if invited!

As we once again approach the day we celebrate the Resurrection from the grave of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I wanted to take this opportunity to encourage you to invite a friend to church for our Easter Sunday services.
Statistics have proven over and over again that so many of us are in church today because someone took the time to provide an invitation for us to attend. While that may, or may not be the case with you, I believe so many of our friends and family would be appreciative of you thinking of them in this way.
