As we once again approach the day we celebrate the Resurrection from the grave of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I wanted to take this opportunity to encourage you to invite a friend to church for our Easter Sunday services.
Statistics have proven over and over again that so many of us are in church today because someone took the time to provide an invitation for us to attend. While that may, or may not be the case with you, I believe so many of our friends and family would be appreciative of you thinking of them in this way.
As the weather begins to warm and evidence of the season’s change becomes apparent, we are reminded of the upcoming special and holy celebration of Easter on Sunday, April 24th. I am writing to you today to personally invite you to attend Easter service with FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH this year and hope that you will mark our services at 9:00am and 11:00am on your calendar now so you can be a part of this special celebration with us.
Even though I’m a fan of technology, it seems like there’s no escaping it, even if you wanted to. In our modern, digital world, it’s easy to work around the clock: our cell phones are always on and everyone expects their text messages and emails to be answered instantaneously.
We are looking forward to an amazing Easter Season here at (NAME OF CHURCH)!
One of the highlights of this particular time of year is our Annual Resurrection Musical as our Choir ministers on Palm Sunday (or Easter Sunday) the powerful message of our crucified and risen Savior!
While it hardly seems possible that another year is in the rear view mirror, it is indeed a fact.
I'm quite sure that this past year held many victories as well as many challenges. If your life is anything like mine, it can seem like you're on an intense roller coaster ride. Often we might feel like we didn't even sign up for the trip but we're on it anyway.
Well, one thing is for sure, and that is that this year will have its share of ups and downs as well.
