Thanksgiving Greetings!

Psalm 107:21-22 (KJV) 21 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! 22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

Once again, it's that time of year when we express our thankfulness to God for the wonderful blessings He has bestowed upon our lives in so many ways.

For the most part, we recognize that thankfulness is something that is taught over time. As Children grow, one of the most important lessons we can teach them is to say “thank you”, which of course is a great help to them as they mature and grow.

October is here! It seems almost hard to believe, but this year is going by very quickly and we will soon be sharing Christmas news with you.

Many congregations and denominations have designated the month of October as “Pastor Appreciation Month” and use a portion of that month to honor their Pastor(s) in a variety of different ways. We too, believe in the importance of honoring those whom God has placed in our midst.

The Dictionary defines the word “appreciate” in this way; “to be grateful or thankful for.”

The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13, “Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.”
