I understand that you are going through a difficult time right now, and I wanted to encourage you that God cares about you very much, and His desire is for you to find peace and joy in Him.
This world can be a sad and scary place at times. We must remember that this world is not our home, and that even in the midst of the worst day of our lives, God is still in control. We don’t always understand why He lets certain things happen the way they do, but we must trust Him.
It has come to my attention that you have been faithfully inviting guests to worship with us at First Christian Church. I think that is wonderful, and I want to encourage you by saying that God is well pleased when His children take the time to invite others into His presence.
It is true – our Sunday school program wouldn’t be the same without you! How can we here at First Christian Church ever express our sincerest appreciation for all that you do to make our Christian Education Department the success that we all enjoy?
We understand the sacrifice you must make each and every week to ensure that every Sunday School class is equipped with the curriculum and supplies it needs; that our volunteers are assigned to the right type of job; that our children are loved and respected by all who have contact with them; that our adult students are not only fed spiritually, but are still challenged to grow closer in their walk with The Lord.
It may seem at times like the things you do to beautify our church go unnoticed. Well, they aren’t. It takes a special person to take their time, energy and talent to see a need and step in to fill it. The love that you express through your altar flower ministry is greatly appreciated by all who enjoy the beauty and fragrance of the flowers that you arrange each week.
It has come to my attention that you have suffered some hardship with your business. I am writing you to offer encouragement during this trying time and possibly some words of comfort and guidance. I understand that things may seem difficult at the moment, but you are of the Christian Life family and we are here to help.
