I wanted to be sure to take this opportunity to send you this letter of congratulations upon your Confirmation.
This is a great milestone and achievement in your life at this point, and I know that you will experience many more moments of celebration such as this.
There is a great scripture in the Bible in 1 Timothy 4:12 (NIV) 12 Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
As we embark upon another election, I wanted to take a moment to encourage you to make your vote a deep matter of prayer about the people you cast your ballot for. This is not a Republican/Democrat/Independent issue, but for the Christian, the issue of the day must always be whether the Word of God is being obeyed within the voting booth.
I know that sometimes it is hard to hold onto faith and trust in God, especially when things have gone wrong in our lives, relationships have fallen apart and we can see and feel nothing apart from the hurting of our hearts.
At such times, it is important to remember that God is love and he resides in our hearts. He is feeling everything we feel and it is at these times, if we let him, that God will heal our wounds.
I would like to invite you to participate in what I believe will be a spiritually enriching challenge this year. I am reaching out to members of the [CHURCH NAME] family through this letter to issue a challenge to read the Bible through in a year.
I wanted to write to you today to let you know just how impressed and proud I was to hear of your recent athletic accomplishment! Wow! I recognize this moment as the evident fruit of your labor and I know how hard you must have worked to get to this important milestone. Clearly, God has blessed you with a great set of skills and I am happy to see you using the gifts that He has given you in your pursuit of athletic excellence.
