As we put this year into the “rear view mirror”, and look forward to all the year of (YEAR) holds for us, we must continue to be mindful of the plans and purposes of God for our lives.
I don't know about you, but I often use this time to reflect and learn from my past, and then do all I can to move ahead without making the same mistakes again… and I do make plenty!

We are just coming out of the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, and have taken time out of our schedules to express our thanks to God for His bountiful blessings, as well as the precious gift of His Son Jesus.
It is with mixed emotions that I write this letter. After many years of joyful service, I must announce that I will be resigning my pastorate here at First Christian Church. While I have no doubt that it was God’s will for me to be here, I now believe that God is calling me to pastor at another church.
The time has come for me to bid farewell to Christian Life Church. As of (date), I will be stepping down as Worship Pastor and would like to thank you for all of the support you have provided me during my time here.
The decision to leave has not been an easy one, but I am mindful of the opportunities that the Lord has blessed me with and I am eager to embrace what He holds in store for the next step in my life. You have been a wonderful congregation to welcome me into your hearts and lives, providing fellowship and a sense of family.
