The Message of Easter Letter

Warm Greetings in Christ!

He has Risen! If the Easter Message can be summed up in three words, most likely, these would be the words we would think of primarily.

One of the reasons, of course, is that these words are scriptural, as we can see in Matthew 28:6 (NKJV) He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

When we look at the birth of Christ, it is clear that the Shepherds came to a place where the Savior was laid in a feeding trough as a child. He was there for them to see, and the fact they could see Him brought tremendous assurance of the birth of the Messiah. The sight of Him produced great faith to the point they wanted to go and tell the world!

Ash Wednesday and Lent Letter – Encourage to Participate

Dear (NAME),

“To grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.”—Isaiah 61: 3

One of the highlights of the evening is at halftime of the game.  During this time, we will be watching a video testimony of ______________ _____________, who plays for the _____________ _____________ football team.

However, just because we’re not receiving Easter ad upon Easter ad in our newspapers and inboxes doesn’t mean we should pigeonhole the holiday as a minor celebration. Easter is perhaps the most crucial holiday on the Christian calendar—even the word crucial has its roots in Christianity, stemming from the term for crucify.
