Special Offering for Hurricane Florence Disaster Relief

Dear Friends,

I greet you in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Many of you have watched as I have, the heartbreaking video and pictures of the effects of Hurricane Florence. While much the impact has been particularly devastating in North Carolina, we know that South Carolina has also been impacted.

While there have been some deaths reported, much of the damage is coming from the epic flooding taking place. Even as flood waters recede and people return back to their homes, we know they will be facing the daunting task of rebuilding and restoring their residences.

I'm of the firm belief that the church leads the way and sets the example in situations like this and while we have helped in the past, we should do our best to help again.

Awana Children’s Program Invitation

Dear Parents,

I want to take this opportunity to invite you to consider sending your children to our Awana program here at (NAME OF CHURCH).

This ministry outreach meets every Wednesday evening at 7 PM at the same time that our Bible study takes place for the adults in the main sanctuary.

God has blessed this church with some wonderful leaders who enjoy working with the children as they lead them to a closer relationship with Christ. So often, we hear that children and youth are the church of tomorrow; however, we believe they are a vital part of the church of today. Many of them will become our leaders tomorrow, so it is essential that we teach them the ways of Christ.

The tremendous value that our children provide to the church far outweighs any kind of difficulties or expenses associated with the ministry.  We live in a society that desperately needs to share the Good News of the Gospel with the next generation.

While this quote from Ronald Reagan refers to America's call to share with the next generation, it also applies to the Gospel:  “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.  We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream.  It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.”

See You At The Altar – Encourage Parents To Pray

Dear

I wanted to take a moment to write to everyone concerning a very special event taking place here at the church called, “See You At The Altar”.

See You at the Altar is a day set aside (the fourth Wednesday each September) for parents and grandparents to gather and pray for their children at the beginning of the school year. The day for See You at the Altar corresponds with the day for See You at the Pole, a national day of prayer for students to meet at their school's flagpole to pray.

Royal Rangers Boys Program Invitation

Warm Greetings!

As a church, our desire has not only been to disciple adults for ministry but also to reach, teach and keep the next generation of children and youth as they grow into adults.

We have a wonderful ministry to boys right here at (NAME OF CHURCH) which meets on a weekly basis on (DAY OF WEEK) at (TIME).

This ministry is called Royal Rangers and is an activity-based, small-group church ministry for boys and young men in grades K-12 with a mission to evangelize, equip and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders.
