I am writing to invite you to a weekend Pastor/Board Retreat to be held on Friday, __________, at ____P.M. at the _____________.
This retreat will be a time of fellowship and fun as well as a time to access our ministry, share ideas and the vision we have for our church’s future. We will be conducting a ministry evaluation and see where we have been, where we are and where we are going as a church.
In the past few months we have seen good growth here at First Christian Church, and it is exciting to be a part of seeing God move in our midst.
Many challenges face a growing church, and of course one of the challenges is to remain a church that still has a personal touch to it, while recognizing the need to grow as God would have us to do.
It was 18 years ago that your Dad and Mom brought you before me at First Christian Church to be dedicated to the Lord.
While I realize you don't remember a moment of the occasion, I know that God did a wonderful thing both in your life, and in the life of your parents.
We as a church are appreciative of those in our community who offer their time and gifts of service on our behalf to save lives, as well as make our community a safer place to live.
With this in mind, I want to send you an invitation to join us for a service to honor those in our Police, Fire, and Ambulance Services to show our appreciation for all they do.

What a joy it was this past Sunday to dedicate your son/daughter to the Lord! You have made some serious promises to the Lord as to the manner you will be bringing up (name) in your home. While these promises are serious they are very possible as God is placed first in your life and family.
