We will be doing something a bit different this year than we have done before, and I think you are going to appreciate it.
As a Pastor, I often speak with ladies who share that there are times Mother’s Day is one of the most difficult days on the church calendar for them and after hearing a few of their thoughts,

I wanted to take a moment to be sure to send you a personal invitation to our Annual Mother Daughter Banquet here at (NAME OF CHURCH).
What a wonderful time of the year to gather together to celebrate the joys of Motherhood, as well as to spend some quality time with your daughter!
Thank you for worshipping with us here today at (NAME OF CHURCH) as we take time to appreciate and celebrate Fathers!
While we recognize that no one in attendance has ever had a perfect Father, or in fact, has never been a perfect Father, it is still of vital importance that we take the time to applaud and encourage those who are endeavoring to bring their children up in a way that honors God.

It's already that time of year again that we take time to celebrate Fathers and the profound influence they have on their families as they “train up a child”.
What an amazing challenge it is in this world we live in today! It seems like outside the church doors there is a constant attack upon the family, and especially the role of Fatherhood within that family unity.
