Church Welcome – Pastor Appreciation Sunday

Welcome to Church!

We are thrilled to have you here at (NAME OF CHURCH) today and trust you enjoy an inspirational and enjoyable time worshiping the Lord. There is something amazing and powerful about the corporate worship experience as voices rise as one to bring the Lord the honor due His Name!

Today is a very special day here as we take some time during the service to recognize and appreciate our Pastor(s). The month of October has been designated on a National level as “Pastor’s Appreciation Month,” and while we are certainly part of this, we are also happy to appreciate our Pastor(s) every day!

Independence Day Weekend Church Welcome

Welcome to (NAME OF CHURCH) on this Independence Day weekend!

This is the week that once again we pause and celebrate our freedom as a nation and the Independence and Liberty that we now enjoy. Today, we not only take a look at the Liberty we enjoy as Americans, but greater than that, we take a look at the Liberty that was made possible through the death of our Savior, Jesus Christ on the Cross.

All of the blessings we enjoy as Christians could not have taken place without our Statue of Liberty, and our Savior who bled and died on it. No, this is not a “statue” we worship, yet we do in fact worship our Lord and Savior who died on the cross and rose again 3 short days later so that we could experience new life and freedom spiritually!

Church Welcome – Father’s Day

Thank you for worshiping with us here today at (NAME OF CHURCH) as we take time to appreciate and celebrate Fathers!

While we recognize that no one in attendance has ever had a perfect Father, or in fact, has never been a perfect Father, it is still of vital importance that we take the time to applaud and encourage those who are endeavoring to bring their children up in a way that honors God.

Perhaps you’re here today, and your children have all grown, but the responsibility of continually praying for your sons or daughters is one that simply does not go away, but then again, why would we want it to? What a privilege it is to pray for those who follow us in this great journey of life!

Church Welcome – Mother’s Day (For Bulletin or Speech)

Welcome to Church here at (NAME OF CHURCH )!

We are so glad you have chosen to worship with us on this very special day as we recognize and appreciate Mothers. Whether this is your first time here, or you are a regular attendee, we sincerely are honored to welcome you here today.

There’s a wonderful little story on the impact a Godly Mother makes on a child and how it can carry them through times of great challenge to their faith, especially as they leave home and begin to make their way in the world.

When Robert Ingersoll, the notorious skeptic, was in his heyday, two college students went to hear him lecture. As they walked down the street after the lecture, one said to the other, “Well, I guess he knocked the props out from under Christianity, didn’t he?” The other said, “No, I don’t think he did. Ingersoll did not explain my mother’s life, and until he can explain my mother’s life I will stand by my mother’s God.”
