Fifth Sunday in Advent Church Letter or Welcome – Light and Purity

Greetings in Jesus!

Isaiah 60:1 tells us this: Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.

As you know, this scripture was written by the prophet Isaiah hundreds of years before Jesus was born!

Today, we continue to celebrate this wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ came to be not only “a” light to the world but “THE” light that would be needed to guide us!

Thanksgiving Letter – Take Time to be Thankful

Thanksgiving Greetings!

The Psalmist writes in Psalm 95:1-2 (NKJV) 1 Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before His presence with Thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with Psalms.

Thank You to Veterans for Serving

Dear Veteran,

On behalf of the leadership and congregation of (NAME OF CHURCH), I would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation for your service in the Military.

We, as a Nation have often been complacent in our expression of thanks for the fact that so many, like you, have served to provide the protection and freedoms we enjoy as Americans.

With our freedom to worship God seemingly always under attack both from outside forces and those inside America, I believe we as churches should be the first to line up and say, “Thank You”!

Thanksgiving Letter – Count Your Blessings

Thanksgiving Greetings!

God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good!

While a statement like that may sound a bit “cliche,” we must realize it's true! Much of the world considers Thanksgiving as just another excuse to throw a party or watch football all day, we, as believers, know it goes far deeper than that.

In addition, we know that Thanksgiving is not just a “day,” but it's a mindset! The Bible shares many scriptures on the importance of being thankful, giving thanks, and even entering into times of worship WITH thanksgiving!

Psalm 100:4 (NKJV) 4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name.
