Good morning! What a joy it is to gather together as the family of God in celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Over 2,000 years ago Mary Magdalene came to the tomb at an early hour. The Bible tells us in John 20:1 that it was so early it was still dark, yet soon the “light of the World” would once again illuminate this darkened world as He arose from the dead. We are thrilled that you have chosen to join us today for worship as we celebrate our risen Savior, Jesus Christ!
The Resurrection of Christ is the great “separator” when it comes to relationship or religion, and we want you to experience something far deeper today than dead and dry religious ritual. We want you to get to know Christ in a greater way than ever before! Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view and/or copy full text!
Welcome to Church! We are so glad you have chosen to worship the Lord with us here at (NAME OF CHURCH) on Palm Sunday.
2,000 years ago Jesus rode into the city of Jerusalem on the back of a donkey, while the people felt that all their hopes and dreams for being free of the oppression of Roman rule was riding on His back.Yet, we know that in just a few short days from that time many of the very same people would be watching and even cheering while stripes were laid upon His back prior to being led to His crucifixion.
What an exciting Season this is! I don’t know about you, but this tends to be my favorite time of the year as so many take time to celebrate and appreciate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Thank you for joining us! Today marks the first Sunday in this time of the Church year that we call Advent. Although we celebrate this season each year, many are not sure what the season is all about. The word “Advent” simply means “arrival.” It is the manifestation of something long-awaited. It is a time that we reflect on Israel’s promised savior and remember his birth, as well as anticipate his return. It is a time of joyous remembrance and eager anticipation. Welcome! Today is the second Sunday in the Advent season. Can you think of some of the Biblical themes of this season? Certainly, the love and faithfulness of God our Father is high up there, but have you ever considered the idea of hope? Although it may not be the first thing that comes to mind during the Christmas season, there is much to consider. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view and/or copy full text!
