We recognize that every person is made in the image of God and has inherent worth and dignity. And we affirm the sanctity of life in all its stages and conditions, including the unborn, the elderly, the disabled, and the marginalized.Â

On this great weekend, we want to take this opportunity to welcome you to (NAME OF CHURCH) as we, first of all, honor our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, but also as we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
While we could spend hours sharing some of the powerful quotes from Dr. King, I wanted to share a few as we open our service today. As you know, they are in complete agreement with the Word of God, which gives them an even more significant impact for not only us here today, but all of humanity:

It's a New Year, and a New Beginning!
New beginnings can be both exciting and intimidating. They represent a chance to start fresh and make positive changes in our lives, but they also require us to let go of the familiar and step into the unknown.
As Christians, we can find hope and strength in knowing that God is with us in all things, including the new beginnings we face. In Isaiah 43:19, the Lord says, “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” God is constantly at work in our lives, creating new opportunities and possibilities for us.
Welcome to our New Year's Eve Watchnight Service! We are thrilled you have chosen to worship with us on the last evening of (YEAR) as we close out the year together in Thanksgiving and welcome (NEW YEAR) with anticipation!
