Church Welcome Pastor Appreciation Day

We are so glad to have you with us today here at (NAME OF CHURCH)! This is a very special day as we take the time to “give honor where honor is due” and recognize and appreciate the Pastor(s) of our church during this Pastor's Appreciation Month.

Whether this is your first time with us or you are a regular attendee, we want you to know how much we appreciate having you here with us. We trust you will enjoy the service while experiencing the wonderful presence of the Lord as the service progresses.

We will take some time during this service to let our Pastor(s) and families know that we appreciate them so much.  We value their ministry and will not only support them today, but will love and pray for them throughout the year.  We trust you will join us!

Welcome to Church on Grandparents Day

grandparents-day-2020

Whether you are joining us today on-site or online, we certainly want to take a few moments to welcome everyone who is joining us today!

We have said it many times but will repeat it: “We live in challenging times”! At the beginning of 2020, many Grandparents found themselves on the other side of a door or window as you “visited” with your Grandchildren. Your arms ached either to hold your Grandchild or at least to give them a good hug!

But alas, we were told to be sure to maintain “social distancing” and hold back on those natural and God-given instincts.

Pastor Appreciation Letter Sample

Warm Greetings!

On behalf of the Pastor Appreciation Day Committee here at (NAME OF CHURCH), I wanted to take this opportunity to invite you to this special day.

We invite our entire church family to join us for Pastor Appreciation Day on Sunday, (DATE) at (TIME).

We plan to do our best to be a blessing to a Pastor, who has been a blessing to our congregation in so many ways.

In addition to sharing the Word of God with us, he spends many hours studying and preparing. He also visits us during both crisis moments as well as times of great joy. In addition, he has dedicated babies and grieved with us as we have buried loved ones. He has stood at the altar “tying the knot” for couples who pledge their love, and at that same altar, he has also knelt at the altar as someone gives their life to Christ for the first time.

Love Offering Announcement Letter – Pastor Appreciation Day

Greetings in Christ,

On behalf of our Pastor Appreciation Day Committee, I wanted to send you this note as we look forward to celebrating our Pastors' ministry here at (NAME OF CHURCH) during the month of (MONTH).

We believe one of the more tangible things we can do for our Pastor(s) is to receive a love offering for Pastor Appreciation Day. While we do, of course, pay them regularly, this is an “over and above” blessing!

We will be receiving this love offering on Sunday morning (DATE) in our morning service. Of course, this is just one of the ways that we as a church body can appreciate those in leadership over us, and we would encourage you to bring a card expressing your appreciation for their ministry.

Invitation to Pastor’s 50th Anniversary at Church

Warm Greetings!

We are thrilled to announce that we here at (NAME OF CHURCH) will be celebrating an extraordinary milestone, and we would be so honored if you would consider joining us.

Pastor (NAME) has labored faithfully for 50 years here at our church. He and his wife have been consistent witnesses of the love of Jesus Christ here in this community and region. For that, we are so thankful.

On Sunday, (DATE) at (TIME), we will be hosting a special service in his honor and as a way to say “thank you” for serving us and this area so well. It's not often a church can celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the ministry of a Pastor, but we can, and we will!
