The words “Back to School” appear all over the place, and it's for a good reason… it's time for our students to go back to School!
I would imagine the students have seen the summer days go by far too quickly as they have enjoyed summer vacations, family outings, far more TV than they need, and the list could go on and on, I'm sure.
As they prepare to return to school again, whether it be to College, High School, Junior High, Elementary, or yes, even Kindergarten for the first time, we need to stand with them in prayer!
It's about time we start seeing the “Back To School” promotions offered by online and brick-and-mortar stores.
Time seems to fly by faster than ever before, but in reality, time doesn't go faster at all. Our lives are just busier, and we are more involved than ever in many things that capture our attention.
As you prepare to go back to school, I would encourage you to take the time to draw upon the strength only the Lord can provide. Remember this; He is going before you to bless you in many ways because He loves you and desires the best for your life!
Once again, we are entering a new school year, and I wanted to take a moment to send a brief note with an important reminder.
Please take time to pray for those who are teaching and leading our children!
We live in challenging times without a doubt, and while the world continues to stand against the Word of God and His people, we must stay strong in prayer.
While our public schools may not be blessed with the ability to stop their day for a word of prayer, we as Christians can and should pray!

It's amazing to think about, but it was (NUMBER OF YEARS) ago that a small group of people gathered together with the desire to plant a church to have an impact on their community. Little did they realize what would take place, but I'm sure they dreamed a bit about the possibilities, aren't you?
There was a time in the Old Testament when the temple was being rebuilt and the statement was given that went like this; Zechariah 4:10a (MSG) 10a Does anyone dare despise this day of small beginnings? They'll change their tune when they see Zerubbabel setting the last stone in place!”
With any great work, there will always be some level of opposition, especially when it comes to the work of God! We may never know the struggles it took to get this fledgling work off the ground, but one thing we do know; it DID indeed get off the ground and continues to have an impact to this day on our community, and yes, even the world through our generous giving to Missions work.
