Welcome, Brothers and Sisters in Christ to (NAME OF CHURCH)!
We are so glad you have to have the privilege of worshiping alongside you today in the House of God!
Let’s reflect together on the following scripture from Hebrews 12:28, which says, “Let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.”
I trust you are doing well and experiencing God's bountiful blessings in your life and the lives of your family members.
As you may know, the month of February is a time that has been set aside to honor and appreciate the sacrifices of African-Americans who have had an impact on our nation.
Prior to 1976, the celebration time was one week as Mayors all over the Nation gave proclamations of the importance of recognizing and appreciating accomplishments of African-Americans.
Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is on (DATE), and this year we will be receiving a special offering for our local crisis pregnancy center by the name of (NAME OF CENTER).
Most of you who are part of this community know the tremendous work they do as they serve young ladies who are pregnant. Some of the ways they bless our community is by providing much-needed counseling and encouragement. Also, the ladies receive supplies for their children, such as diapers, baby bottles, strollers, and car seats.
Welcome, Brothers and Sisters in Christ to (NAME OF CHURCH)!
We are so glad you are with us today as we worship the Lord together in the House of God!
We are going to have a time of worship shortly, but first I want us to meditate together on the following scripture from Psalm 100:4-5; “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and his court with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is Good and his love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.”
On behalf of the staff and congregation of First Christian Church, I want to take the opportunity to thank you for visiting our church this past Sunday!
We hope that you were able to stop by our Welcome Center after the service. We love to get to know our visitors and welcome you with a small gift. People are available to answer any questions you might have about our church and the ministries that happen here throughout the week.
