Thanksgiving Letter to Church

Thanksgiving Greetings!

Most of us who have or have had Children started teaching them the basics as they were in their formative years. We taught them to say “please” when they wanted something, but we also taught them to say “thank you” upon receiving a blessing.

It wasn't something they were born with, but the more we taught them not only with our words but also with our examples, they began to use these powerful words. And for that, we are thankful!

The Bible tells us in Psalm 107:8-9 – 8 Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, 9 for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.

Pastor Appreciation Day Welcome

Good morning, Church!

We are so happy to have you with us today here at (NAME OF CHURCH)!

A little later in the service, we will be honoring some very special people as we celebrate our Pastor(s) on Pastor Appreciation Day.

We believe it is essential to let them know just how much we appreciate all they do here at the Church and in our community. They serve with the heart of Christ who set the example for all of us as he knelt and washed the feet of the Disciples. Most likely, there will be no “foot washing” in a literal sense today (and aren't you glad for that?), yet we will thank them for their servant spirit and give honor where honor is due.

Love Offering Announcement Letter for Pastor

Greetings in Christ,

I wanted to take a moment to send you this note on behalf of the committee here at First Christian Church as we look forward to celebrating Pastor Appreciation Day during the month of October.

One of the things we would like to do for our Pastoral Staff is to receive a Love Offering as we show our affection and appreciation for our pastors and their families.

We will be receiving this love offering on Sunday morning, October 7 in our morning service. Of course, this is just one of the ways that we as a church body can appreciate those in leadership over us, and we would encourage you as well to bring a card expressing your personal appreciation for their ministry.

E-Mail Letter to Encourage Church People on 9-11

Dear

I wanted to take a moment to send this e-mail to encourage you to take a few moments on this day to remember and pray for those who became victims of the terrorist attack on our Nation on September 11th, 2001.

While that day seems so long ago, in a way, it seems like it was only yesterday as most people know exactly where they were, and what they were doing when they first heard the word of the attacks in New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.
