These Church Benevolence Letters are a great way for churches to communicate effectively as they encourage people to bless and support this ministry that reaches so many who may be in need. Many are in the church already, while others are in the Community.
Written by a Pastor with over 35 years of ministry experience, they will be a great addition to your follow up efforts to reach your community for Christ!
It's hard to believe, but Christmas is almost here! It seems like it was just a “few days ago” since last Christmas, but as you know, time passes quickly!
This is usually the most anticipated time of year for children all across our nation and the world as parents do their best to give them a Christmas they will remember for a long time. I don't know about you, but some of my fondest memories of Christmas don't really have to do with “big toys” or “expensive gifts”, but good quality family time.
I wanted to take this opportunity to send a note of encouragement to get involved in a ministry of practical and spiritual value which serves many people in need on both a weekly and monthly basis. This ministry is our Food Ministry called (NAME OF FOOD MINISTRY).
This ministry has been part of our church for (NUMBER OF YEARS), and in that time has been a tremendous blessing to hundreds within our community who have needed the resources we have to offer. It has been a great joy to serve them!
On behalf of the leadership here at (NAME OF CHURCH), I wanted to take a moment to send a letter of appreciation for your assistance at our Annual Thanksgiving Community Meal this past Thursday.
We are so thrilled to be able to have such a meal to be a blessing to the people in our Community
On behalf of the congregation of (NAME OF CHURCH), and our leadership team, I write to extend our thoughts and prayers to you as you have experienced the loss of your home due to fire.
I can't begin to imagine what it would be like to lose many of the precious things to you, especially those irreplaceable items such as pictures and other family items. We often don't realize how special those things really are until we no longer have them in our possession.
Well, it's that time of year again! Christmas is such a wonderful and joyous occasion as we celebrate the birth of Christ by giving gifts (and receiving some too), as well as spending time with families and loved ones, and so much more.
This letter is just a little reminder that while we are so blessed to share in the joys of Christmas, it can also be a very difficult time for families struggling financially during tough times.
With this in mind, we would like to provide an opportunity for all those who are able, to help us make Christmas just a bit brighter for some of our families within the church to make ends meet.
