There are those times that a letter or email speaks volumes in reference to the care and concern for those who are walking the lonely path of illness.
Perhaps even times when a visit might be a bit awkward due to the nature of the illness you will find that a letter or email would serve the purpose quite well.
Written by a Pastor with over 35 years of ministry experience, these letters will be available to use at any time you need to reach out and minister to someone in need of the right words at the right moment!
I write to you today with a sense of urgency and concern, yet with faith and trust in a our God who is able to do the impossible.
Recently, it was determined that _________ ___________ is in need of a heart transplant. What a challenge for this 10 year old boy to face so early in his life!
I just wanted to take a moment to send a note of encouragement, as well as to let you know that we continue to pray for your full and complete healing.
As I look back over the past 2 months and realize the path you have been forced to take, I can't help but be in awe at how the Lord has brought you through this very trying physical and emotional trial.
I was deeply troubled to hear of the news you received from your doctor. Please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of so many. Even though there may be times when you feel alone, know that there are many who care about you and who are lifting you up before the throne of grace during this most difficult time.
I have known some people who think that if one is diagnosed with cancer, or some other illness, that they must have sinned or somehow fallen short before God. In case any of those thoughts are creeping in to your mind, I want to assure you that God does not work that way. The Bible clearly tells us that all of us are subject to times of joy and times of sorrow.
I just wanted to leave this note for you to let you know that while you were resting, I/we stopped by for a visit.
Not really sure what to do, I chose to let you sleep as I realize how difficult it can be in either a Hospital or Nursing Home to catch a few moments of rest with all of the activities going on during the day, and yes, even at night.
