As the world prepares to enjoy the birth of our savior joyously, we cannot help realize this is your first Christmas after the untimely death of your wife. We all know this is a very difficult time for you. We pray diligently to the Lord who sustained you in the past year to help you during this time of reflection. We know how you and your wife used to enjoy this wonderful time of the year with numerous festive celebrations and charity acts. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view and/or copy full text!
Christmas is a time of giving. It is the season for which I am most grateful as is true of most people. While the secular world emphasizes Christmas trees, Christmas parties and Christmas lights, we as Christians, know the true meaning of the season. The Bible prophesied of the coming of our Savior this way in Isaiah 9:6: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
It is with a sense of thanksgiving and gratitude that I write to you during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. As this letter is being written many wonderful things have been taking place in our church and for this our hearts are overjoyed. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view and/or copy full text!
I write briefly to let you know how much we appreciated the presentation of (Adult Christmas Cantata) this past week at First Christian Church.
I know that it takes great dedication to organize an event such as this, and you are to be commended for the fine job you and the Choir have done in sharing the Christmas message in song and drama. I am sure it served as great inspiration for many of the family and friends of the children, as well as the many people who assembled here at FCC for the presentation. The greatest announcement the world has ever received is found in Luke 2:10-12 – But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view and/or copy full text!
Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Isn’t it wonderful to serve the Lord, and know that Jesus is STILL the
Reason for the Season? Never before have we heard so much controversy
over this time of the year, and whether we should be greeted in the
stores with Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, or just a plain “hello” so
that nobody is offended! Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view and/or copy full text!
