We are looking forward to a wonderful service the Sunday before Thanksgiving as we take time to appreciate and express our thanks to the Lord for His bountiful blessings in our lives.
I’m reminded a bit about a tremendous story in the Bible Luke 17:11-19 where Jesus healed 10 lepers. Yet, while 9 of the lepers went their way rejoicing in their healing, only 1 of them in fact turned around to go back to express his thanks to the Lord for the miracle that had taken place in his life.
Imagine that! 1 out of 10 said thank you! We are often so quick to correct and instruct our children when it comes to the importance of saying “thank you”, but you and I are challenged on a weekly basis, and yes, even daily to express our love and appreciation to the Lord. Psalm 107:21-22 (KJV) 21 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! 22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
Once again, it’s that time of year when we express our thankfulness to God for the wonderful blessings He has bestowed upon our lives in so many ways.
For the most part, we recognize that thankfulness is something that is taught over time. As Children grow, one of the most important lessons we can teach them is to say “thank you”, which of course is a great help to them as they mature and grow. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view full text!
This letter may be used to give to those who will be Baptized in Water to send to their friends and family as an invitation.
I wanted to take a moment to send you this note to let you know that I’m taking a deeper (literally) step in my faith as I will be baptized in water on (DATE)!
I’m very excited about this, and wanted to be sure to send this invitation to you as you are someone I would love to have there with me to celebrate and witness this very special moment in my Christian walk. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view full text!
October is here! It seems almost hard to believe, but this year is going by very quickly and we will soon be sharing Christmas news with you.
Many congregations and denominations have designated the month of October as “Pastor Appreciation Month” and use a portion of that month to honor their Pastor(s) in a variety of different ways. We too, believe in the importance of honoring those whom God has placed in our midst. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view full text!

The Dictionary defines the word “appreciate” in this way; “to be grateful or thankful for.”
The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13, “Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.”
Once again, we are coming to the close of another Summer. For many, it seems the Summer days go by way too fast and for a few others, these days simply signify another season just around the corner… football season!
Actually, during the month of September as many are settling back in to their schools and jobs following vacation, we also know this is a time for people to look to the church once again for inspiration and fellowship. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view full text!
It’s already that time of year again that we take time to celebrate Fathers and the profound influence they have on their families as they “train up a child”.
What an amazing challenge it is in this world we live in today! It seems like outside the church doors there is a constant attack upon the family, and especially the role of Fatherhood within that family unity. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view full text!
I would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to you and your family to attend our Sunday morning service on (DATE) at (TIME) as we observe a special time of recognition for all High School and Higher Education Graduates.
I wanted to take a moment to send you this letter of invitation to our upcoming special Revival Services with Evangelist (FIRST NAME, LAST NAME), which will be held here at (NAME OF CHURCH) on OCTOBER 20-23.
“Your letters have been a great help to our ministry. You’re right, thinking and thinking of what to say can wear you down... so your letters have been a great help. The letters continue to be a blessing to both Andrae and myself. Thank you for being faithful to helping so many in the ministry."

(Our sincere appreciation for the wonderful life of Andrae', and his music before being promoted to Heaven recently. Our loss, Heaven's gain).
"I hardly consider myself ever being at a loss for words, but churchletters.org has been an amazing blessing to me in reaching and connecting with friends, colleagues and ministry leaders. Sometimes I use an entire letter that speaks my heart. Other times I use just a phrase that helps me better articulate a letter I personally composed. I use it in letters, emails, more. It saves me a lot of time in the writing process. Churchletters.org sort of reminds of me of a composer writing a great song for a singer to sing. It's really cool because people love being appreciated and edified. Appreciation always wins over self promotion!"
