I wanted to take this opportunity to send this letter during the Christmas Season to let you know how much you are appreciated and loved.
While there can be little doubt you would rather be in the House of God at this time with us, you and I both know that the presence of God in our lives is not determined by our present location, but we can experience His touch wherever we are.
I write briefly to let you know that we are praying for you here at First Christian Church, and believe that God will be your source of strength and hope in this difficult chapter of your life.
I want to assure you that God considers your life of great value, and while the world around you may not see you that way, it is important to believe what God says. The Word of God does not change “according to our circumstances”, but brings great meaning and purpose to these times.

We are so grateful for the blessings of the Lord here at (NAME OF CHURCH), and are looking forward to even greater things in the weeks and months ahead.
Recently, our President has placed a greater emphasis the idea of “volunteerism”, and has encouraged people of every walk around our nation to respond in such a way that needs are met in different organizations, ministries, and of course, even for those who are less able to take care of their own needs. I think that regardless of your party affiliation, we can ALL agree on the need for more volunteers!

The work you perform as Secretary is most often one that is “behind the scenes”, however, I want to assure you that not only do I see the work, most importantly the Lord sees your hours of labor to make First Christian Church a place that the Name of Christ is honored.
I just wanted to take a moment to write a brief note to let you know how much your work as Sunday School Superintendent is appreciated here at First Christian Church.
The lessons that are taught here by our faithful teachers are truly an inspiration to the people, and no doubt you have inspired the teachers to give their best far before entering the classroom to teach.
