I just discovered that you are coming up on a very exciting anniversary in your life, and I wanted to be sure to send this letter of congratulations and encouragement to you for your (3rd) year being free from alcohol!
I have heard this is one of the most difficult struggles for a person to go through, yet you are not only going through it, but with the help of Jesus Christ in your life, I believe you are conquering and winning!
I just wanted to take a moment to send you a note to thank you for your tireless and devoted efforts in our Church Nursery.
Without a doubt, we often get so busy in all of our ministries, we don’t take the time to just appreciate what others are doing, yet I know the ministry you are involved with is of vital importance to the overall effectiveness of our church here in this community.
With this being the first Wedding Anniversary you will spend since the passing of your wife/husband, I want to assure you that we are thinking of you. We are praying that God will undergird you with His strength.
I realize that nothing can ever really replace the love in your heart that you feel for your husband/wife that you were married to until his/her passing. Dreams shared, mountains climbed, valleys crossed, and much more was part of that special relationship that you enjoyed.
I write briefly to send thanks on behalf of the congregation here at First Christian Church for your ministry in the Sanctuary Choir.
I realize that it takes a considerable amount of time and sacrifice to participate in this great ministry, yet I also know how rewarding it can be on a personal level, as well as the great blessing it is for the entire congregation.
I pray that this letter finds you well during your service to your country. As your chaplain, I wanted to write you with some words of encouragement in carrying out your difficult endeavors. Your hard work is appreciated and we pray for your safety in the line of duty.
