Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
The fundamentals of God’s economy are sound! Isn’t it wonderful to read a statement like that in times of great economic and financial upheaval in the United States and around the World?
I wanted to take a few moments to write to you today concerning some of the events that have taken place over the past few weeks and months, and even as we look ahead.
Another school year has begun, and I want to take the time to encourage you as you go back to school and begin again in the classroom.
As their teacher, you have the unique privilege of being the hands and feet of Jesus to your students… and for some, you may be the first person who has ever done so. Your students will come to you from all walks of life, and I want to encourage you to take the time to get to know them and to get to know their stories.
It's that time again! I know it must seem hard to believe, but Summer break is over, and it's time for School!
Well, as I write those words, I know some are filled with a sense of excitement and anticipation of all the new school year holds, and others are not nearly as thrilled as they see the challenges ahead.
The Bible tells us in Hebrews 10:25 – 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
This scripture almost seems to be more difficult in this day we live as we seem to be busier than ever! I've often thought it would be wonderful if somehow we had an “eighth day of the week,” but sadly, we would find ways to fill that up as well.
As we approach the season of celebrating the death and glorious resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, I hope this letter finds you well. Our prayers are with you and your family and we would like for you to know that your presence is missed at services.
