It is that time of year when families are coming home from vacations, and children and youth are going back to school in anticipation of a brand new start in a grade higher than last year.
Our church is also anticipating the upcoming season as the choir prepares for Christmas (yes, I said Christmas),
I write briefly to send thanks on behalf of the congregation here at First Christian Church for your ministry in the Sanctuary Choir.
I realize that it takes a considerable amount of time and sacrifice to participate in this great ministry, yet I also know how rewarding it can be on a personal level, as well as the great blessing it is for the entire congregation.
I wanted to take a moment to send you a special note saying “thank you” for participating in the special Easter Musical presented by the Church Choir this past Sunday.
I know that it takes a considerable amount of effort and time for practices to be able to stand and minister in such a special way, but let me assure you that your sacrifice is appreciated very much!
I just wanted to drop you a quick note to express sincere appreciation for your vocal solo this past Sunday. Your musical gift was such a blessing to me personally and to the congregation, and I know that God was honored and glorified through your effort. It is such a pleasure as a Pastor to see God’s gifts used in such wonderful ways during worship time together.
I wanted to take a moment to send you a note to let you know how much I appreciate your ministry here at (NAME OF CHURCH) as you direct the Choir.
It is often somewhat easy for us to take ministries such as yours for granted because of our tendency just to pause and say those very special words, “thank you”!
