I just wanted to take a moment to send you this note to let you know we will be keeping you in our prayers and thoughts as you move away from this area.
It has been a joy and a privilege to have you and your family worship with us for the past ______ years. Of course, one of the most difficult aspects of moving away is to say good-bye to so many friends you have made, and of course saying good-bye to your church family as well.
I just discovered that you are coming up on a very exciting anniversary in your life, and I wanted to be sure to send this letter of congratulations and encouragement to you for your (3rd) year being free from alcohol!
I have heard this is one of the most difficult struggles for a person to go through, yet you are not only going through it, but with the help of Jesus Christ in your life, I believe you are conquering and winning!
I greet you in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Recently, it came to my attention that you will be moving away from the area, and will no longer be able to attend First Christian Church. It has been a joy having you and your family as part of our congregation here at First Christian Church.
Greetings from the men’s ministries here at First Christian Church! We are thrilled to be able to extend an invitation to this year’s annual Men’s Retreat to be held at the awesome ________________ Resort and Golf Club. Every year we look forward to gathering the men from the fellowship for fun, fellowship, spiritual teaching, and GOLF!
I am writing to follow up with you after our counseling session this past week.
While I am delighted that you have chosen to begin the process of healing and restoration in your life, I want to be sure to remind you that it is a step by step process and will require effort on your part on a daily basis.
