I write briefly to thank you for the time you took out of your schedule to interview me for the position of Senior Pastor at First Christian Church.
We certainly enjoyed our brief time with you as a Church Board, and wanted to also be sure to thank you for the generous honorarium as well as the hotel and dining arrangements while visiting your city. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view full text!
It gives me great joy to write to inform you that we, as the congregation of First Christian Church will be holding our first services in our new facility located at 1555 King’s Highway on Sunday, May 15.
As you know, we have been in a building project for the past _______ years/months, and while there have been challenges along the way, and yes, even obstacles, we have once again realized the faithfulness of God as He has given us wisdom and direction as we trusted Him. I trust you are enjoying the blessings of God in your life and that you are looking forward to even greater things in the weeks and months ahead. We are truly living in challenging times, but I believe we serve a God who is “up to the task”, and will give victory as it is needed. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view full text!
I just wanted to take a moment to send you a note to thank you for the honor of ministering at your (loved one’s) funeral, as well as to offer my sincerest condolences to you. I know that we hold a great assurance that we will see our saved loved ones again even as we stay faithful to Christ. I’m really not sure how people make it through this life without that realization. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view full text!
It is with a humble heart and a thankful spirit that I learned that you had selected me to serve as your pastor. My heart is filled with joy as I write this letter accepting the position at First Christian Church. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view full text!
I am writing to you in order to invite you to a special appreciation fellowship for our pastors wife. Pastor Doe is not the only one who makes sacrifices for the good of First Christian Church.
We thought a fellowship in her honor would be a most appropriate way to show Mrs. Doe how much we love and appreciate all that she does. The manner in which she supports Pastor Doe’s ministry results in blessings for all of us. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view full text!
“Your letters have been a great help to our ministry. You’re right, thinking and thinking of what to say can wear you down... so your letters have been a great help. The letters continue to be a blessing to both Andrae and myself. Thank you for being faithful to helping so many in the ministry."
- Andrae’ and Sandra Crouch
(Our sincere appreciation for the wonderful life of Andrae', and his music before being promoted to Heaven recently. Our loss, Heaven's gain).
"I hardly consider myself ever being at a loss for words, but churchletters.org has been an amazing blessing to me in reaching and connecting with friends, colleagues and ministry leaders. Sometimes I use an entire letter that speaks my heart. Other times I use just a phrase that helps me better articulate a letter I personally composed. I use it in letters, emails, more. It saves me a lot of time in the writing process. Churchletters.org sort of reminds of me of a composer writing a great song for a singer to sing. It's really cool because people love being appreciated and edified. Appreciation always wins over self promotion!"
