I was deeply troubled to hear of the news you received from your doctor. Please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of so many. Even though there may be times when you feel alone, know that there are many who care about you and who are lifting you up before the throne of grace during this most difficult time.
I have known some people who think that if one is diagnosed with cancer, or some other illness, that they must have sinned or somehow fallen short before God. In case any of those thoughts are creeping in to your mind, I want to assure you that God does not work that way. The Bible clearly tells us that all of us are subject to times of joy and times of sorrow.
