Father’s Day is always one of the “highlight” Sundays of the year for a church.

The possibilities are endless for making this a great day. Take some time to recognize Dads in attendance during the church service. Some churches have special drawings for prizes during the service. Perhaps even a grill would be a great giveaway if your church can make it happen!

You could send a letter to follow up with a visiting Dad, or an invitation to the Father’s Day Service.

Father’s Day Service – Welcome for Bulletin or Announcement

Thank you for worshipping with us here today at (NAME OF CHURCH) as we take time to appreciate and celebrate Fathers!

While we recognize that no one in attendance has ever had a perfect Father, or in fact, has never been a perfect Father, it is still of vital importance that we take the time to applaud and encourage those who are endeavoring to bring their children up in a way that honors God.
