Father’s Day is always one of the “highlight” Sundays of the year for a church.
The possibilities are endless for making this a great day. Take some time to recognize Dads in attendance during the church service. Some churches have special drawings for prizes during the service. Perhaps even a grill would be a great giveaway if your church can make it happen!
Thank you for worshipping with us here today at (NAME OF CHURCH) as we take time to appreciate and celebrate Fathers!
While we recognize that no one in attendance has ever had a perfect Father, or in fact, has never been a perfect Father, it is still of vital importance that we take the time to applaud and encourage those who are endeavoring to bring their children up in a way that honors God.
It's already that time of year again that we take time to celebrate Fathers and the profound influence they have on their families as they “train up a child”.
What an amazing challenge it is in this world we live in today! It seems like outside the church doors there is a constant attack upon the family, and especially the role of Fatherhood within that family unity.
I wanted to take this opportunity to send you a note to let you know it was a privilege to have you as our guest here at NAME OF CHURCH this past Sunday morning for our Father's Day Service.
I trust you were warmly welcomed and made to feel “at home” as much as possible!
I would like to take this opportunity to invite you and your family to our services on Father's Day here at the church.
One of the most powerful statements a Father can make is to attend church with his family. It speaks volumes to the next generation coming behind us, and goes a long way to develop the thought of attending church in the minds of our young people who will eventually will grow up to be leaders in their own homes.
With Father's Day fast approaching, I wanted to be sure to take this opportunity to extend a special invitation to all Fathers to attend services here at First Christian Church.
What is the most powerful word in the English language? Is it “honor” or “love” or “country”? Maybe it's “sacrifice.”
